Hi there. I’m a developer and software architect with more than 30 years of experience in the business. My first computer was the Atari 800XL, where I have collected my first programming skills in the assembler language because all other languages had been unusable for large projects on this platform. After small intermezzo with the Atari ST (Oh, the Motorola 68000 was so sweet piece of sillicon) I finally moved to Intel based PC platform and here I have collected experience with Windows and Linux system administration and programming.
In last decades I’m focusing on networking, network security, Windows low level programming and Network Drivers development.
In the past I worked for the AVG, well known antivirus company, where I led design and development of the AVG Firewall component.
Then I have moved to the Avast – a company developing the popular AVAST! antivirus solution. I was responsible for the on the fly network traffic filtering solution based on WFP technology there.
Nowadays I’m trying something new - IoT world mixed with Windows driver development at NXP . Here I’m techncal lead of the Windows IoT project - how to run Windows IoT Edition on the NXP ARM64 sillicon in a nutshell.
And finally, I design and build some IoT devices for my house and maintain a small homelab cluster where I’m trying to bring some of my networking ideas to life.
You might find some of my projects hosted on GitHub useful.
